Description: Envisioned as both an artwork and identifier for the City of Richardson’s Fire Station 1, Insignia Lattice is a sculptural façade that interprets the firefighter symbol of the Maltese Cross in a waterjet cut pattern configured in a logarithmic spiral. The dynamic perforations provide sun shading during the day and articulated shadows inside the building’s lobby atrium.
